The students who win the most awards may not have more positive attributes than you, but they used the following methods to be noticed by the scholarship committee:
Get Prepared:
Get letters of recommendation from teachers, guidance counselors or leaders in your community. Choose wisely (make copies).
Get a copy of your high school or college transcript (make copies).
Get involved in your community or school activities or your church. If your time is limited because of personal relationships, working to help families also spend a favor.
